Registration Flow
How guests register for your events
Guest Registration
When a guest visits your event page, they see the registration form with:
- Name, email, phone (optional)
- Ticket tier selection (if multiple tiers)
- Custom form fields (if configured)
- GDPR consent checkbox
- Coupon code field (for paid events)
Registration Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Approved | Guest is confirmed |
| Pending | Awaiting manual approval (when "Requires Approval" is enabled) |
| Waitlisted | Event is at capacity; guest joins the waitlist |
| Cancelled | Guest or organizer cancelled the registration |
Waitlist
When capacity is reached, new registrants are automatically waitlisted. When a spot opens (cancellation), the next waitlisted guest is automatically promoted.
Referral Tracking
Track where your guests come from by sharing links with tracking parameters:
?ref=partner-name— custom referral code?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social— UTM parameters
View referral sources in Analytics > Referral Sources.
Digital Tickets
After registration, guests receive:
- Confirmation email with QR code
- Option to save to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
- Calendar event (.ics) attachment
