Automated Reminders

Set up automatic reminder messages before and after events

Creating a Reminder

  1. Go to your event's Communications > Reminders tab
  2. Click Add Reminder
  3. Configure:
    • Trigger — before event, after event, or after registration
    • Timing — e.g., 24 hours before, 1 hour after
    • Channel — email, SMS, or WhatsApp
    • Segment — all guests, specific ticket tier, or guests who didn't open a previous email
    • Subject and body — your message content

Trigger Types

After registrationImmediately when a guest registers

Segments

Target specific audiences:

  • All — every approved registrant
  • By ticket tier — only guests with a specific ticket type
  • Email not opened — guests who didn't open a previous reminder
  • Not checked in — guests who haven't checked in yet

How Dispatch Works

Reminders are processed every minute by an automated job. When the trigger time is reached, the reminder is sent to all matching recipients.
